I agree with both of you on the almonds thing but I actually enjoy the peas as well.....it reminds me of the first time I had them as a kid and I loved them for some fucking reason.

My mom didn't really have a specialty, she, me and my sister all took turns cooking and we always kept it varied. I guess she did lean towards the mediteranian kitchen.

You weirdos aren't actually that weird. It's been documented that for some people overeating causes sexual pleasure due to the expanded stomach compressing and stimulating sexual organs in the lower abdomen. Apparently it's more common in women than men because they have a uterus and junk up in there. Doing this repeatedly causes your brain to associate overeating with sex and sexual pleasure, creating a simple Pavlovian response cycle making you want to overeat more. That combined with the fact that food and sex are the two most basic desires for virtually every animal make the relationship between the two actions extremely strong.
