Results... The eggs are less fluffy, less like a pillow cloud. Some would subjectively say this is "cleaner" with a more post modern aesthetic.

This strainer, vinegar technique yeilds a result in between the water bath and vinegar solution process in that the egg comes out "cleaner" but more rounded over and taller.

While superior to the water bath due to height, I am not convinced the strainer method is better. I have wasted some egg white which was strained out but would have been held together by the vinegar, as well as I now have to clean eggs whites from a fine mesh strainer.
