So what makes the people who go to /ck/ and passive aggressively make uninspired and disingenuous threads/post suddenly become genuine and serious about irrelevant tribalism?

Like, where are you getting these fucks from to invest actual effort into off-topic shit flinging, in a thread which actually has a pertinent food topic that plenty of posters can actually comment on?
It's like you see the incentive to actually discuss food and feel left out of the discussion, so you feel obligated to participate by derailing.
