Look at my 1k glass. There's like 1mm left on it, lol. I was using it for a lot of single bevels knives, and blasted through it because I needed it flat.

I always shill the shapton 1.5k kuromaku for an all rounder. Really slow dishing, fast, and a good feeling stone.
