>take up an internship away from home
>renting a short term apartment but it's not available until two weeks in
>staying in an airBNB in the meantime
>not gonna eat out for two weeks so use the host's kitchen to cook food
>fridge is getting crowded
>host decides to buy mini fridges for the rented rooms to resolve the issue
>leaves it outside my room and tells me to plug it in wherever
>plug it into the same outlet as the floor lamp
>put in my lunch for the next day, a ham and cheese sandwich
>stupidly forget that I had been using the light switch to control that lamp, meaning the switch turns the outlet on and off
>go to sleep
>wake up and get ready
>realize the fridge is not cold
>realize how I fucked up
>figure my lunch will be OK because it's lunch meat
>take a wet shit towards the end of the work day but think it's no big deal
>get back to airbnb
>proceed to shit diarrhea every 30min or so for 2 days straight
>bedridden
>even the host got concerned and asked if I was OK
>don't even have the energy to watch anime or something
>just stare at the ceiling all day and occasionally fall asleep only to wake up and take another shit
Worst experience of my life

>Order lasagna special from restaurant
>expect just a regular slice, I don't like lasagna that much
>they give me like 3000 calories worth of lasagna and meatballs

>Want to order a salad cuz I want something light
>every salad is like 10 pounds and half of it is cheese, fried meat, and french fries

Why can't I just order something and be able to eat it all without feeling like throwing up after?
