I concor. However, you are making the assumption that the ratios are the same or that the do not matter.
A scoop of chocolate and strawberry in a 3:1 ratio (respectively) has a much different flavor than a 1:3 ratio.

Being a different culture and all, her friends and family back home were absolutely amazed at the fact that I could cook. To this day I cook most meals in the house.

I still remember the moment I took over her mum's tiny poky little "kitchen" and cooked up a big batch of Indonesian beef rendang.

A white man cooking their own national dish in their own country, the family was completely unable to speak. And they don't speak English...
