>parents brought me out to a fancy seafood place after spending the previous night getting shitfaced with the boys
>always iffy about seafood, had mild poisoning several times at various cheap restaurants
>specifically told my mother this and she insisted that we go there
>decide to play it safe
>parents get various exotic raw and imported/far-traveled fish
>I get the regular ass beer battered cod
>get home
>violently puking for 2 hours on and off
>end up passing out and needing to go to the hospital
>forced to use 3 sick days recovering and losing about 10lbs
>miss out on plans to hang with several friends that week that I hadn't seen in years
>scheduling prevents me from seeing them for several more years
>mom still brings it up like a joke
