I still can't wrap my head around the devotion that this brand breeds. In N Out, Whataburger, Culver's, whatever the fuck, are all just fine burger stands with a product that's a few notches above McDingu's and Berber Queen's product for a buck or so extra. Fuck your regionalism fueled autistic screeching. But Five Goys, Fucking Five Gays, this shit costs twice as much or more for a product that's dripping with grease and assembled so poorly you can't pick it up without ruining your shirt and leaving your hands so thoroughly coated in oil and condiments that it takes half a roll of paper towels to clean them off.

I'm going to assume that dog food is more or less really low-grade chopped up meat and organ meats that the modern palette is to squeamish for.

Saute up some mirepoix, then add in a little garlic and cook until fragrant. Add in some tomato paste and cook that up to caramelize the sugars. Deglaze the pan with water (I'd tell you to use some hoboswill wine or beer but if you're so poor you're eating dog food then alcohol is something you just can't afford to mess with period). Add the dog food to the pan and simmer it a while to marry the flavors and reduce. You now have a crude stew which you can eat out of a bowl over some starch, stuff into some hot water pastry for meat pies, or put in a casserole dish under a crust of biscuits or mash potatoes.
