My current one isn't. I don't think AEG does gooseneck kettles.
The affordable EU one I found, I guess it's actually not too bad. Shame it's only 800ml.
I'll probably just stick with the AEG until it totally breaks down, because ordering stuff online is a hassle.
But yeah temp control helps a lot. Important for tea, and very helpful for baking - getting perfect warm water for yeast
