so i used to bartend at a fagass craft cocktail place where i got fired because i wasn't as serious as fuck as my asshole coworkers. that being said, that other guy had it right; this is sugary bullshit, you need other things to balance it out.

i can tell you don't know shit because you didnt even state what whiskey you were using. its a big fucking deal. when you make a vodka drink, vodka is just vodka, really. but whiskey - jesus man you're stepping into a whole new world of insane variety, like wines.

proper burbon drinks generally involve a citrus, and a bitter of some sort. make a sazerac for babbys first real cocktail.

anyway with that bullshit you have, try 2ounce shitwhiskey, .75 ounce lime and .25 ounce whatever that vanilla shit is. shake it or stir it, taste test, melting ice is an ingredient. not too much, not too little. strain into chilled coupe - sorry i mean a shitty plastic cup
