Simple tricks to make white rice flavored.
>Add a star anise into the pot before starting it, along with a dash of sesame oil unless you prefer oil on your rice right before you serve it

People way overcomplicate fried rice, it doesn't require 500 ingredients and special shit. All you need to make fried rice is a few assorted vegetables, a dash of soy sauce, garlic, oil, eggs, and a pinch of sugar/salt.
