>2 cans of tomatoes
>line bottom of pot with olive oil
>2-3 cloves of garlic crushed
>diced onion

>Make meatballs (whatever recipe you use)
>cook sausage (italian spiral sausage)
>dice sausage into good sized chunks
>throw meatballs and sausage in sauce slow cook for an hour or two

that's how I make it anyway, sadly no exact measurements but y'know.
