Is that the best your city has? Ever heard of a star? How's life in flyover country? You the guy bragging about living in Texas in the other thread?

I'm sorry if the first thing you think of when you see a fast food restaurant is "a place to spend my big bucks" or to dine out for a leisure social meal, but some people actually have perspective and understand what these things are for. It's really sad that you even made the connection in your mind.

Enjoy your chocolate lava cake or whatever it is that people in flyover land are just finally discovering.

>muh calories per penny!

The point of a nice restaurant is not to ensure your survival until the next meal can be scrimped together. They're meant for people whose survival is assured.

>when a touch screen order system and a pickup window can do your job so much better

Oh, I see where you're coming from. You're desperate to get as many calories for your precious dollars as possible and you misunderstood the point of a restaurant.

Why not just eat at home, that way no markup for individually wrapped portions. Or is the stove too intimidating?

>muh munny's worth

If the goal is to stuff your obese self for as little as possible, you can and should cook at home.

This goes for Europoors as much as it does Amerifats.

>implying I can get anything other than skirt steaks for $20/lb where I shop for meat
>implying $20-40 for a meal is an unattainable luxury worth getting autistic over

It's just a hunk of meat. The reason plebs get excited about "the rules" is that it's traditional for poors to go out to the steakhouse when it's time for The Big Night Out (prom, and so forth), and steak "rules" are the only form of restaurant etiquette these people have ever been exposed to. Steakhouses are popular because having everything heaped on one plate and arriving at once is a surefire way to know that you got muh munny's worth and being served small individual separate courses as you would at some other types of restaurants will induce hysteria and indignation over getting "ripped off".

Remember, just tell the waiter to serve it like it's mooing, and he'll acknowledge you as an acceptable customer just like in the fantasy.

Is that like a gourmet luxury hamburger restaurant? Sorry but the whole Vegas thing doesn't impress me.

>knowing about food makes you a yuropoor

There you go with that nonsense again, flyover land. I know how hard it must be because I've been on road trips and I've seen how you live. In your homeland, aka "The Heartland" as your Fox News calls it, every freeway off ramp leads to the same six chain restaurants, but if you can escape to reality you may some day discover that America actually has some of the best food in the world. And by "food" I mean something that isn't a reconstituted corn byproduct pressed into the shape of meat. It must be very confusing but if you work hard you'll eventually figure it out.

My main experience with this is my obese coworker who, as far as I can tell, eats an insanely heavy multi part meal 3 times a day.

He does the usual amount of snacking between meals but it's the meals themselves that do it. Whenever we go to a restaurant that isn't one of those places that serves a massive heap of third rate meat and two massive heaps of fried starch, he gets hysterical and starts complaining that it's "too expensive". Recognizable vegetables? Too expensive. Any ceramic visible beneath the food? Too expensive.

I generally associate cries of MUH MUNNY'S WORTH with obesity and poor taste, for this reason.

>what's a multi course meal

Apparently it's something you've never heard of. Everything must be served in such a fashion as to obscure every last square millimeter of plate, is that how it goes? Food piled high to assure you that you're getting "muh munny's worth".

God forbid anyone offer you a drink that isn't tap water either. Those scheming waiters always trying to upsell. It's one night out a month. Can't you just enjoy your gluttony in peace?

Anything nice is a voodoo trick on /ck/. Penn & Teller proved via bro science and a professional film editing team that the average drive thru customer at Wendy's prefers Two Buck Chuck macerated with fresh strawberries and mixed with 7up rather than a 1er Cru Bordeaux opened the year after it was bottled and served warm in a styrofoam cup. This proves that any time anyone claims that one food is better than another, they're gullible and they think that expensive means it's good.

Now if you'll excuse me, I believe there's an Arbys thread I need to bump to page 0.
