Why doesn't anyone drink champagne, or sparkling wine in general? I mean obviously it exists, and some do, but it doesn't seem to be treated as a "serious" choice for "serious wine drinkers", just garbage for mixing with orange juice on Sundays, which confuses the fuck out of me because it's delicious and has a lot to offer.

Obviously not all of it is delicious and there's room for mixed drinks in any reasonable person's rotation, but I mean come on. Is it just "rap black scary negro" knee-jerk stuff? Like how we're not allowed to enjoy cognac anymore, or chicken for that matter? Why is everyone so mindbroken about this stuff?
