I like fat but that's too much. To me, this is the perfect amount.

Are fattier and more tender cuts of steak less likely to cause constipation?

USDA Prime steak. Available at any good meat market. I know that you want people to post shit, but we have amazing food available in the USA. Eurocucks seething because they don't have a meat grading system like the global superpower that is the USA

My grocery store never “knows” when it will get prime ribeye. So, I’m at the mercy of whatever is in stock. I got prime ny strip this week because I had that steak craving. It wasn’t satisfying at all.
Don’t waste your money on ny strip. Go out of your way to get ribeye or just don’t bother getting steak because you’ll be disappointed with anything else.

>let ribeye sit out for 30 minutes to bring to room temperature
>inside still measures 50F
should I let it sit out an hour, then? I'm worried the outside will remain at room temperature too long and become unsafe to consume. Maybe my fridge is too cold and I should turn it up a little?

Can we get a food disaster thread? Post stories. Here is one that will always stick with me.
>be me, 22 at the time
>was just beginning to get interested in cooking as a hobby
>brother bought two dry aged ribeyes for my girlfriend and i for my birthday
>very nice ribeyes from one of those online ordering places (rattlesnake is the name of company if curious)
>on day i was going to cook them, take steaks out and go to the bar to play a few games of pool
>let gf know that i will make steaks upon return
>get back around 7 to the smell of something cooking
>gfs little brother is there
>he is 16 year old who loves food network and the like, and thinks he is a chef
>he excitedly shows me what he made with my steaks
>steak is cut up into little dried out cubes with rice and some weird "japanese" sauce he made
>steak appears to be almost inedible
>tell him it looks good, immediately go back to bar to drink
>come back to him eating chips, getting shit all over my playstation controller
>gf bitches about me not eating his food
>wonder why i was chosen for this fate
>thank god i had a buzz

I still don't really care for the guy.
