I am decent in the kitchen and sometimes cook for my parents. They like the steaks I cook and I want to cook some really nice impressive steak dishes (which I cook for myself when I'm alone and they turn out great) for them but here is the catch: they like well done. This sucks all the joy of cooking from me. What is the point of deglazing the pan and doing all that work to put on top of a well done steak. I wish they liked properly cooked steak
