I hear a lot of raving about evan williams bottled in bond. Is it worth sipping? That is to say, it's worth drinking for the flavor, not just because it's easier to get down than other stuff in the price range because you're trying to get drunk on low calories.

I'm a total scotch snob and kinda think all bourbons are pretty similar except I do like bookers and stagg jr. I don't dislike stuff like blantons, woodford, or IW 15, but there isn't a huge difference to me that justifies the price of the bottles. Hence, if EW BiB has even a little bit of 'interesting' going on, I'll probably make it my go-to bourbon.

I don't expect a $17 bottle to keep up with a $60+ single malt, but
