I need some advice. I have been working at a small Italian restaurant for a little over a year now. It is my first job in a kitchen. I started as a dishwasher, but have since moved up to the line. I am mainly doing pizzas, which is where I started. When I was trained, I didn't know I was learning from a bunch of jackasses. The pizzas are supposed to be 10 inches, but there is sometimes freshly made when I need it, so it is a lot harder to stretch it out to an ideal size. Can anyone give me tips for shit like this? Also for making pizza taste good?

What he said. I'm a fatass, but most of it is from shitty portion control over the years. Don't even really have that stuff in the house, aside from Holidays.

>dude go to a local chain! muh family business! muh mom and pop! the quality is way better!

>go to place 1
>sauce is extremely sweet yet also sour at the same time, pepperoni is drowned in grease
>go to place 2
>crust is very chewy and large, as if the yeast was uncooked or some shit, also a bunch of cheese is overflowing from the whole thing, it looks and tastes gross
>go to place 3
>its decent, again to much cheese but better than the first 2, main thing is that its expensive and not worth its price

Meanwhile...
>go to dominos/papa johns
>usually have deals and good prices
>i know what im getting
>taste is very consistent and good, thinner crust but not flat, crust is brushed with garlic, even spread of cheese, sauce, and toppings
>my pepperoni is usually even a bit crisp at dominos, something i like

Is there anything worse than elitist faggots who hold shitty local restaurants over your head and say how perfect they are, while saying big chains are bad? They are like the "IM A VEGAN!" of the pizza world. Fucking queers

So just came home to a guy standing outside my house saying that he accidentally ordered a dominos pizza to my house (he's already paid). I said I'll tell him when it turns up. I go inside and my housemates have already started eating it!!! Should i join in?

I'm interested in the art of a pizza. I think it's the sign of a healthy appetite to have a good craving for food. Pizza is a tradition in our family because we come from the country of Italy. Nothing like good family traditions and food to remind you of all the great ingredients of a 'za.

Worked as a delivery driver at a pizza place in Vegas for two years. Never fucked with food or anything but the rest of the drivers were absolutely retarded. Have a few stories.

>one summer
>hot as fuck and the AC was broken
>120 degrees all day in the store
>super slow morning shift, not a single order for the first three hours
>after prep decide to take 9/10 female coworker into the walk-in fridge
>hotbox it for a good thirty minutes
>leave and come back some time later when we need some more dough up front
>EVERYTHING smelled like weed for two days
>nobody gave a fuck cause the manager was a drunk retard and the owner was in jail for the weekend for beating his wife

another one

>aforementioned drunk retard manager starts banging 8/10 slutty kitchen bitch
>nobody cared cause everyone that works there except for the owner is 18-22
>drunk fuck keeps coming into work drunk in the morning
>8/10 always talking about either relationships or sex
>the super slut decides to be a good person and make him a deal and tells me about it for whatever reason
>if drunk manager can stop drinking for a whole month, 8/10 is gonna have a threesome with drunk manager and her 6/10 slighty chubby sister
>all of my fucking what
>"don't tell anybody anon"
>didn't really care
>after the threesome 6/10s boyfriend comes to the store trying to start shit
>apparently the 6/10 felt guilty and told her dude
>he keys drunk fucks car and runs off

Fuck that place, man. Great money but holy shit everyone I worked with (including me) was a degenerate. I only have two more stories but they're not great, one about the worst tranny you've ever seen and one about the most greedy, cheap indian woman you've ever seen

Hi, /ck/, I have a stupid question for you.

So we have made a few times something like 5-7 big pizzas and we end up putting them on the top of each other (after cutting them to regular pizza pieces) and then we put them in the refrigerator. It doesn't seem to matter if we leave them to cool down first or if they are in a refrigerator or not, they end up sticking to each other, except one time they didn't. And it is horrible to get a piece after that. Why would they be sticking to each other? The yellow cheese or because of the dough itself? We make the dough part relatively thin, if it matters.
