Sometimes I look at myself and how I am when I'm talking drunk and think
"Wow I'm brilliant with my drink in me"
Other times I'm sober some days in and think "this is the sharpest I've ever been"
What can one do facing polarity like this? What is the truth?
Sometimes I think the truth is that there is a God who has blessed us with an eternal soul that will shine one way or another, and all the self hate and judgement is just a way to avoid the extreme truth, that we are loved and brilliant no matter what, the same way fathers love their sons no matter what crimes we commit, we should love eachother and forgive ourselves. We need to forgive ourselves as we need to forgive others. This is how we honor our father, no matter if they honored us.
You bear my burden, you are my brothers.
