What do you choose, and why?

So I just watched Iron Chef America and it was pretty boring yet again. Here is my idea on how to make Iron Chef America not boring:

Have only one Iron Chef. Anyone who wants to become the Iron Chef must, obviously, challenge the Iron Chef. Stuff goes as usual. Whoever wins the match becomes the Iron Chef.

Seems a lot better than the shitty way Food Network does it which composes of "let's take these popular chefs and let them do stupid shit like cook in a baseball park and if they win they can be Iron Chefs."
