>So, to recap, salt with iodine tastes bad, and you shouldn't use it. Kosher salt, on the other hand, is iodine-free, and you should use that instead. If you remember one thing, remember that, and everything you cook will taste better.

First off all we ate moe fish, second of all our soil was fucked up by agriculture ans is now lacking relevant minerals like iodine and selenium. Pic related is what happends just centuries before we made synthetic iodine, to people which didn't ate fish regularly. The thyroid will become massive over the years. This has ben so common that many placed in germany had fashion to hide the necessary surgery scars, they wore a "Kropfband".
It also reduced T and female fertility and can lead to autoimmin problems like hashimoto. It's also why you like fast food, because they use iodizes salt while most tards buy sea or mountain salt.

You better add 150-200mcg of Iodine daily to your diet.

In the US lack of iodine in the diet is associated with the inbred hill country people of the appalaichans and ozarks. If you aren't a whitetrash hillbilly living in a trailer in a meth/opioid/fetanyl fog, you won't have a problem.

>iodized salt

That's what most people use because womens magazines in the 50's initiated a huge scare about goiters because some isolated group of appalaichan hillbillies had such a poor diet they didn't get iodine. But you can find kosher and sea salt even in the most backwoods walmart.

I haven't eaten iodized salt that I know about in 10 years and since I eat at restaurants maybe once a year pretty sure I don't eat it. I don't have iodine defeciency or the typical symptom, goiter. That's me in the pic and you can see I'm fine.
