That's probably what they in America call Smorgaasboard, and we here call Smörgåsbord.
It's a sort of traditional Swedish way of presenting food for feasts, very popular here such as for christmas or graduations. Though there are more social rules here, such as which order you take things in (start with cold dishes), etc.
