I've had sparrow.
Kind of a very lean gamey sort of bird. Not a very strong game taste but it was there, and there wasn't much else. Very little meat on the little fellow obviously. Not something I'd bother with unless I were starving. Killing sparrows famously prevents starvation, as we all know.
