Brits have some inherent disease that makes them want to stack carbs in carbs with more carbs. Toast in bread, french fries in bread, chips in bread, pastries in a bun. I had a British banquet chef make himself a meal while on the job. It was potato soup with rice.

England was never good. They got lucky for a while but are a shit country. I blame malnutrition the problems of many countries. Look at what British people have been eating. Pastries, bread, potatoes, beans, meat, and a little bit of peas? When they're eating a small potato and beef pie inside a bun, you wonder how much of their diet is empty carbs and how few vitamins and minerals they're getting.

For me, it's a pastry filled with gravy inside a bun.

Here's a lot of bread, with some apples (with are pretty much just sugar-juice with fiber), sugary grapes, sugary chocolates. But hey, here's a couple vinegared cucumers and a small ration of meat and cheese.
