Is this is what flyovers think "fancy sophisticated elitists" eat?

Looks like the midwest finally discovered macarons. I was wondering how long this would take.

Does that mean all your cupcake joints went out of business?

Wait until lunch hour during the week

Notice the 3 or 4 people standing in line

Rage autistically about the "hipsters" who rush to chipotle to "be seen standing in line for the cool hipster food"

For extra credit insert some race baiting from one or more of the following perspectives:
>I'm a real authentic pioneer white and I only eat from muh hole in the wall across town because I took high school spanish
>Chipotle is just more evidence of the destruction of the proud white race and all that she invented, $2 for guac? why do smug cuck liberals flaunt their wealth when I am entitled to a high paid job at the box factory that closed in 1975 just like muh daddy
>I'm a 6th generation chicano and my obese parents totally make better Texmex slop using various Cargill brands
>#bayleaves do americans really?

Isn't there a grand opening for a new Cinnabon or Gloria Jean's you should be rushing to?

>traditional scandinavian food

Very few people do this. You can find stuff like lefse and lutefisk in small towns and a few specialty stores and some of those same small towns still have restaurants where the food resembles what you might find in a small nowegian town, but in exurbia (the main population centers) most people treat themselves with stuff like Macaroni Grill and Olive Garden (shit-tier "italian" chains), and at home they eat culturally ambiguous north american food, either microwaved or cooked on MUH GRILL (an outdoor cooking stove powered by compressed pieces of synthetic charcoal). In cities they are preoccupied with the scraps of exotica they can manage (primarily cambodian, viet, and mexican, with increasingly some east african these days) but for whites, that is seen as food for dirty impoverished hipsters, not something for grown adults.

Some years ago when the food scene seemed to be on the up and up, a few real chefs tried to civilize the noble savages, in one case with modern scandinavian fine dining, but it was a miserable failure because fine dining means MUH STEAK and MUH STEAK only, with the aforementioned outdated wine list. Jean Georges got replaced with a local "italian" place which serves such approachably exotic things as three-cheese pizza, and Samuelsson got booted out and replaced with an upscale hamburger joint.

>WTF is "palm sugar"? Do you mean palm OIL?

I dunno man. If only there was some network of computers that could potentially transmit data on this subject over to your screen. Some day, perhaps. Some day.
