all things considered, I do, but typically I eat at restaurants to order things I either cant make, or don't know how they make it. something that takes work. I'd never go to a restauarant for example, and order a ham and onion omlete, that would be so damn easy to whip up at home. ingredient or work involved it needs to have something I can't get for some reason.

typically I don't get too much illness from restaurants though, but there is stuff to be afraid of. one idiot I was in charge with tried to clean a potato with table sanitizer. but like the book goes over, theres always going to be risk whenever you eat, you can take a chance, or you can cut out experiances from your life. I'd say anthonys tips on what to avoid are pretty on star if you are worried.

listen man, you sure you run a restuarant? because it seems like you aren't much of a chef if you don't know how to experiment at home and in the work pantry to try out something new. my old boss used to do this all the time, introduced new menu items like waffles, crab dip, etc.

Just work on a not busy day, look up some recipies, and throw the results at your crew. they'll love the free snack and you'll get feedback.
