Indian zoroastrianfag here again (i stopped posting after those pictures). Maybe i'll make a new curry thread to only talk about food.

Called 'pora'. Pretty similar idea though. The red stuff is red pepper more than tomato. We sometimes eat it with panfried potato slices and fresh cut onion.

I don't give a shit if you don't care about my culture. I care about it for personal reasons, and my community does. And don't give me shit about contributing to this world. I'm obligated by tradition to give away my wealth to the poor, and strong family values are certainly helpful in ensuring successful children, no? Just fuck off if you somehow have to critisize others for their culture. I'm not pushing it on you, why do you even care?

and what have you done to further this? you critisize people like me for liking their own culture, but i'm a working scientist (condensed matter physics). In fact it was my cultural values that pushed me to pick that over law school. Nothing in my religion or culture has hindered me from helping other people, and I'm sick of people like you who think that tradition is bad.

Curry shouldn't be fatty in my opinion, but thats because of my regional tastes. Majority of the indian you see abroad is punjabi or mughlai food. Punjabis are hardcore farmers and warriros, and required very heavy food, so they put cream and lots of meat into everything. Mughals were kings. South indian food is very light, and oftentimes vegetarian.
