The only time I actually care about customer service is if someone is rude to me, in which case I try my best to be rude back. Generally if someone in food service is pissing off customers, they're also pissing off their coworkers so it's actually pretty easy to just shit on them and have their coworkers back you up or at least laugh along.

That said, if I'm at a craft beer-focused bar or something and I'm not having an in-depth conversation, I'm always happy to have the bartender tell me about his current favorites. I like to catch up with the servers at places I'm a regular at. It's fun to learn the names of the people who cook your favorite food.

Cut the soup and the milk.

Get some fresh mushrooms, onions and sour cream instead.

Cook the Porkchops first, then remove them from the pan, and put them in the oven on low heat. Stir fry the onions, then add the mushrooms. Season with salt and pepper, add some garlic if you like it (fresh garlic, not powder, you uncultured swine!), turn down the heat and add the sour cream. Stir well, add a pinch of sugar, taste it. Put porkchops on top of rice, add mushroom cream sauce, serve.
