My favorite whiskey is undeniably the memetic peaty Islays, but they're getting expensive so I don't buy them much these days. What I've recently been pleased by is pic related. A blend, yes, but it's extremely cheap, acceptably aged, and decent quality. As the name suggests I'm sure there's Talisker in it, because it has a degree of the same sort of gingery spice and peat as Talisker, but obviously far less intense. A bottle of this is 1/3rd the cost of a Talisker 10, so for the meantime my money is going for this.
