i've been drinking matcha for years now. it's expensive as shit (if you don't want grey looking and fishy tasting chinese leftovers) and i can promise you there are no health benefits that you will notice.
doing a cute lil tea ceremony (aka pre-heating the bowl with water, smelling the matcha in the warm bowl, hand whisking the matcha to a froth etc) has helped me personally calm down significantly through very stressful and tumultuous times though. and i personally think it tastes delicious.
