Well that went quite well.
At first the fat would not mix in for more than about 20 seconds but it got a bit better as the curry cooled. What I ended up doing was giving it a big stir each time I put a serving in a bowl over rice noodles. Then I would stir the noodles in and that soaked up the remaining fat.
The dish was by far richer and silkier than it ever was before ( I have been making this recipe for years) but I did notice that it was far more filling. No way I could eat as much as I normally do of this.

Well /ck/, once again you did right by me.
What other advice you got?
