No he’s right. They are utterly joyless and unsatisfying. Just the worst version of themselves.

I will add frozen meatballs. Often terrible with the odor of a burp. No soul or love goes into them and sometimes they even taste like what they are fortified with (wheat germ??)

I went there tonight for the big box and my trip was not a happy one
The tenders were half the length and thickness they used to be (and they weren't huge in the past)
My local Popeye's used to throw in an extra tender or two when I've gotten the big box in the past, but there was none of that this time. Three pieces that would best be described as nuggets.
The red beans and rice were very watery and bland.
The coleslaw was room temperature and smelled off; inedible.
Overall, I'd give my visit a 3/10
