Usually the ones praising and criticizing are American themselves. They are the ones who keep talking about cultural appropriation when most people outside of the US don't care about that.

I would be worried in big countries where the supply chain is so wide. Most likely many Americans will be in a tough spot because the federal government is a fucking joke and won't plan anything to help its people. Most likely governors from California and NY are already planning for what might happen. Poor states will enter desperation mode.

A much bigger problem you may encounter is that your restaurant might lack identity if you don't characterize the restaurant appropriately.
