Hey bros. I spent 8 months at my colleges cook program then got shafted by covid before graduating due to everything shutting down

There are a few places in my town still willing to hire me in an entry level position.

So my question is are there any professional cooks on here? Can anyone tell me how they feel about being a cook as a profession and whether or not i should find other work?
