i got a $20-50 one (forgot the price) and usually make some kind of medium grain rice once or twice a week with it. i've had it for years. it's just nice to be able to dump rice and water in and do something else until it beeps. cfb to learn how to cook stove rice at this point desu. here's a pic of my shitty anime omelette with fantastic rice.
