What are some thing you used to do with food as a kid that you still do (or would like to do when given the chance)?

I used to love leftover spaghetti. My mother used to take the leftover noodles and sauce and put them together in a bowl. It would sit there over night and then the next day I would take some and heat it up in the microwave.

The noodles absorbed so much of the sauce and the bits at the edge of the bowl would get crsipy. I loved it.

I still do this today .

In fact, I sometimes make spaghetti and sauce just to put in the fridge to do this the following day.

What things did you love doing as a child with food?
