Id say this is the easiest way to save money, learn some basic cooking skills, and prepare something you can feel decent about eating (vs eating fast food)

>watch a couple youtube videos on how to cook a chicken breast or a steak
>do the same for a plain-ish vegetable or two (some simple oven roasted veggies is a great start)
>buy some cheap olive oil
>buy a seasoning that sounds good (McCormacks is a decent and cheap seasoning to fuck around)
>buy a condiment or two like a steak sauce and some hot sauce
>buy some frozen garlic bread or fresh from the deli area if they have it

Thats about as simple of a bachelor meal as you can make.
