Packing with so much flavor it will leaving you crying like an anime fan on prom night. Except this is a happy cry because its so delicious. Not a sad cry because the Anime fans date is getting a train ran on her by Tyrone and his home boys. Its a delicious cookbook is what im trying to say.

Awesome thread anon and you must love the book if you went through all that for it. I gotta be honest though most of the recipes are just really really bad. Some are so simple that they shouldnt even be in a cookbook. Its fine in the sense that I think the cookbook is strictly for kids because these are far too simple for adults. The Photography though is honestly awesome and by far some of the best themeing ever. Whoever took the photos is the true star of the show because holy fuck thats some good work.

The Street Fighter one as of right now might change in the future but Street fighter for sure. Reason being its food from around the world and I love international food. The book is just really nice and put together plus as a street fighter fan its fun reading all the little things but the food is really good at least everything ive tried so far. Except the BLT. I dont like Brie and that didnt change my mind. The Torta though fuck yea.

Currently my favorite one. No before people get in a piss contest yes its based on a video game but the chef knows her shit and is better then most "Real" Quote on quote cookbooks. She has her own food blog as well. But I like this one because im a sucker for international food and this one is amazing in that department

What makes a cookbook an actual good cookbook? What do you look for in one? Celebs, Cover Etc? Like whats your basis?

I'm curious to get the SF cookbook because it looks to be a bunch of international recipes instead of just blanka burger and m.bison beef stew and shit like that.

Ive heard from several people that cookbooks are outdated and that just googling stuff is way better. I have several cookbooks that were my mothers as well as my own collection such as the picture.

I tried going on pinterest and saving some recipes but everything just looks the same after awhile. With my cookbooks I can actually learn about dishes that I would have never learned of otherwise. Ive cooked them too and fallen that much more in love with cooking.

The only real thing I believe now is that the only advantage the web has over cookbooks is that if you know what you really want you can look up a recipe online.

Other then that the cookbooks have taught me more and helped me more. Just my two cents.
