oat milk
steak
chocolate
shrimp

I like them all (except the oat milk), but god, people tend to think these ingredients are on a level of their own.

In terms of making tasty, well-prepared meals as the expected standard, then yes.

She always made nutritious, healthy and tasty food with both simple and exotic ingredients. She also had a good sense for balancing flavor: Balancing the herbs and the spices with the Salt and the sweet and the savory. I ate well growing up.

However, when it comes to more advanced cooking technique like á la Cordon Bleu or something like that then no.

I should also mention that my father was also good at cooking and they both shared that responsibility. I would say they were equals in the kitchen but my father was more partial to stews and fish while my mother was more partial to meat dishes.

Not sure if it's interesting or relevant but I grew up in Sweden in a completely ethnically Swedish household and family.

Pic related, some of the dishes I grew up on. Please don't judge my appalling Gimp skills.
