While I have no idea what is going on in that webm, the things that come out when he cuts the soccer ball are the things you put into one of these old children's toys, I think it's called a Viewmaster or something. The small black parts are photographs so you look into the toy, and so long as there's enough light to see it, you'll see a photograph of something. Then you press the button on the side to advance to the next photo.
