Worked there for a couple years. If you aren't a decent employee in any way, (show up on time and actually do good work), you will get a lot of freedom to work how you like.

If you are a dumb kid who jerks around all day making customers feel bad then you are gonna be under the thumb of the supervisor who is going to hate your guts.

I did everything, rear window, handing out food, getting food ready, fries, some grill (though the Mexicans really did that better than me), dish washing, unloading the truck, cleaning the lobby.

I could probably punch a new employee in the face and get away with it. Manager respected me because I knew what customers want when they come to McDonalds because I love McDonalds more than anyone.

You forgot the combo.
