That's why you carefully source your food... all of it.

One well sourced pig from a small farm can feed you for a year. A well sourced cow can feed you for 2 years. It's really not that hard, but people want their "cheap" tendies and want to live in a soul crushing office job that requires you sit in traffic for 2 hours a day instead of god forbid getting sunlight.

The atrocities of factory farmed livestock is just the tip of the corruption iceberg. Look close enough at these animals and you will see a typical city dwelling wage slave person reflected in each one of those miserable animals.

If you actually want to be an actual benefit to your environment, you will abandon consumerism as much as possible and take up homesteading.
Doing the "least bad" is still bad.
You claim livestock can ONLY be a detriment to the environment, where I have actually witnessed the exact opposite be true. My livestock creates life and nourishes everything around it. It's incredible that I get to partake in the nourishment they provide both alive and dead.

And what life do you create, what environment do you enrich? You do nothing but read statistics and continue to be a slave to the supermarket while you cower in your concrete urban coffin.

I also love how vegans will never talk about their duck grown rice. None of you fuckers have an argument. Big fat fucking cope.

Stop thinking technology will do anything except make things worse. Victorians thought the industrial revolution would get rid of poverty by this point, surprise surprise, people still live in the same amount of destitute squalor as they did then, but now they are surrounded by plastic and are less likely to die during infancy, leading to overpopulation.

Morality is imposed onto the masses by a capitalist industrial system. If you really want to live a life more in tune with nature and not contribute to the nasty petrochemical suffering and destruction involved in commercial food production you should grow and raise your own god damn fucking food. I just dug up my first potato patch not knowing wtf I was doing and not even tilling the ground yesterday. I got a bucket of fucking potatoes. A literal god damn 6 gallon bucket of potatoes in the tiniest fucking patch 1/4 the size of the worlds dinkiest apartment balcony that I had no fucking idea wtf I was doing and could have done so much better with.

Grow. Your own. Food.

Murder is a legal term reserved for humanity, and if you want less animals killed for food, get a chest freezer, source a farmer who raises pasture raised, grass finished large animals like cattle and hogs, and feed yourself on one of those for a year from nose to tail (aka honor the things that die for your food, because animals always die for your food, regardless if you are vegan or not). One animal dies for your food instead of trillions for vegan food or billions for supermarket animal food.

Lets face it, without industrially processed mock meats and other ungodly petroleum packed, globally imported abominations against humanity you urbanite consumers call "vegan", the vegan movement wouldn't exist outside of a few anorexic nutjobs that would die in a decade from malnutrition.

So do the trillions of animals that die for plant agriculture to feed vegans so idk what your point is. A single pasture raised, grass finished cow can feed me for 3 years. Nothing but the cow has to die for that. How many sentient beings have to die to protect your precious vegan food for a year?
