yeah just gonna take this stale organic housemade civraxiu baked in my favorite park slope bread atelier that just happened to be at the peak staleness by coincidence, some spare DOCG parmigiano-reggiano, and maybe a piece of mangalitsa pancetta that that was just rattling around my liebherr fridge. add a dab of butter from the isigny I just had lying around, and oops! out of sage, silly! gonna ring my doorman to see if he can run down to the dean and deluca to pick up a few leaves. this isn't a fancy meal so just crack open a bottle of that spontaneous-fermentation whole-cluster arneis that my buddy giuseppe sent me from his backyard farm (they say 'agricola' over there) in the roero. that's in italy btw, oh you've never been? you absolutely must go dahling it's a much more enlightened way to live. it's the simple things, really. sometimes you have to just stop chasing the glamour and just realize you've got everything you need right here.
