I legitimately have never gotten sick from the mushrooms I've picked. At least not yet. I'm very careful.
I have cooked and eaten some bitter boletes before, so that's as close as I've gotten.
Stay weak.

Oyster Mushroom kit. Basically a ready made box that you can grow some oysters from and sometimes you can even get a second or a third harvest (albeit much less). I've seen them at grocery stores, places like Home Depot and you can order them online pretty easily.
>And how should I know which ones to eat?
Ideally try to find someone that knows how to identify mushrooms and tag along. Also get an identification guide. The National Audubon Society Field Guide for North American Mushrooms is a pretty standard one for NA. Don't eat mushrooms you aren't sure are edible.
