Another tale, I have loads of this shit and these are only /ck/ related.

>rearranges kitchen without any empathy for our stuff
>have to ask her where things are constantly
>she gets defensive every time
>set of containers forever missing

Other roommate and I have discussed evicting her in February.

Here's a downer. We're a family of four.

My mom doesn't eat with us unless it's Sunday because she works until 9. She used to tell us that eating as a family was one of the most important things (we're Chinese). My dad didn't eat with us until I was about 14, because he'd always come home from work at 11.

We don't have much to talk about at the dinner table because I'm pretty much a gweilo and didn't learn enough Chinese past 2nd grade level. Now I avoid the dinner table because my brother thinks I hold this hatred towards him that I don't have (he never got over his childhood sibling rivalry, long story) and so he likes to make passive-aggressive jabs at me whenever I talk about enjoying anything in life.

When my parents are together at the dinner table, they get very loud (again, they're Chinese). I leave right then because it sounds like they're screaming into my ears. I actually got used to cooking for myself during my year stay off-campus so eating at the dinner table makes me wistful.
