Went to Italy last year, and since I was a complete newbie at drinking wine we decided to go to a local vineyard to try some of their wines. I tried three different types of red wine, all of them contained Sangiovese. Pic related tasted best to me, as opposed to the others it was a pure Sangiovese instead of a blend with Merlot (?).
Bottles of Era are a bit pricey at home though. What kinds of red wine should I be looking for to get a similar taste?
