Brats are better as a stand alone sausage, but I love coney dogs and smothering a brat in chili would be kind of overkill

It's probably because often hot dog buns are just slightly bigger than the hot dog, so nobody wants the last bite that's a sliver of hot dog nip and a fat hunk of white bread

When I was a kid, whenever it was my choice to eat somewhere it would be a coney island restaurant and I would always have a coney dog and share a plate of fries with my sister. It will pretty much always be the most comfy food to me.

A coney dog with chili cheese fries, to me is the ultimate comfort food and my favorite.

Runner ups include a nicely made slice of pizza, a nice bacon cheeseburger, and french toast

Now, I generally consider Ohio to be something of our brothers here in Michigan, we're right next door and your musical heroes such as Mushroomhead and Bone Thugs N Harmony have always been fairly popular here as far as I know

However, I have to call nonsense thread here, the Detroit style Coney is the original coney and the best, and the best use for this sort of chili sauce. Putting it on pasta is not good, nor is the ridiculous raw cheese.
