Polish beer autist here
If you want to try something more uniquely Polish than just a lager, try a Polish porter AKA baltic porter. It's a strong, dark beer similar to an imperial stout but usually milder and sweeter, with more dark fruit notes, sometimes pumpernickel. Most of the ones on the market are decent but can vary batch to batch. Kormoran's "Warmiński" is probably the most consistent from what I've seen, it's also on the more expensive side though. Alternatively, "Argus Porter" is sold in Lidl, is very cheap and honestly usually very nice.
Another even more uniquely Polish style of beer is Grodziskie, but there's only one brand that makes it nowadays aside from microbreweries. It's a light, dry wheat ale with smoked malt, pretty unique and good in the summer.

As far as lagers go, Kormoran's "Warmińskie rewolucje" is usually nice though there's also some batch variation. I usually just get a Czech import like Budweiser Budvar if I want an inexpensive lager desu. For muh american hops craft style beers Grodzisk White IPA is good for the price and widely available.

Kuflowe became a popular meme for some reason so that's probably why

Pole here
most of our big brand beer is kinda mediocre desu, Czechs make better macro lagers
try a baltic porter though if you can find it - pretty cheap, strong and much more tasty than malt liquor if you like dark beer
Żywiec porter is the most common, but most Polish porters are decent
grodziskie is another characteristically Polish style of beer, but I don't think you'll find that abroad since it's pretty obscure and only regularly made by like one smaller brewery. great summer beer though, very refreshing

other than craft beer, Baltic Porters are pretty much the only really good Polish beers
sometimes they're a bit rough and may require additional aging, but they're amazing value for a complex imperial stout equivalent

try baltic porters instead if you want to LARP as a pole, best price-to-quality ratio in Poland, especially if you age them for a year or two

not that bad for a honey lager, but much too sweet for me. honey beer is fairly popular here for some reason
baltic porters are the real deal when it comes to polish beer anyway
