I have more cupboards than the average person, but I only use them for storing empty bourbon bottles. Except my bourbon bottles don't typically make it to the cupboards and are strewn around my counters. I never clean my counters but they aren't that dirty because I don't prepare food on them and I haven't lived here for more than a year even. Every food item I have I keep in this pantry thing that is missing a door, except for the food I keep in my hidden cellar for emergencies. There is no organizational method to my food, but naturally the things I use most frequently are all the front of the pantry. The trash, I try to throw in the direction of the trash can but I usually don't make it. Occasionally I will just drop trash where I stand. My kitchen table, which I only really use to eat grapefruits, I keep covered with the constant stream of flyers they send me as a tablecloth.
