I know that feel, OP. Food has no taste, only thing I get flavour from is my whiskey and the occasional Moscow mule I'll make on good days. Everything else has no flavour, just temperature. At work I heat up my food, eat it, then go home. But when I get home at 2230, I rip off my clothes and take that first sip, and my god, it's a sensory overload. My mouth waters, my jaw aches, it's like opening my eyes after having just been born. Nothing better than sitting there at that god tier time of night when the world is quiet, you can set your phone aside and for a few hours not have a care in the world.
